Membership is open to graduates and post-graduates of any of the IITs, and to former members of academic staff of the IITs. Associate membership is also offered to friends and relatives of members and to anyone who has an interest in the promotion of the IITs. Honorary membership is given to eminent personalities. IIT alumnus from outside the UK can become well wishers.

- Access to restricted area within the website. Member data as per the membership forms will be held on the web site. This information will be user code and password protected and only registered persons will have access to this data.
