The India Business Forum at London Business School, eti Dynamics and Indian Institute of Technology (UK Alumni) are delighted to host a very interesting discussion on the prospects of development of the renewable energy sector in India in the post "Copenhagen" climate.
The high growth economies played a very important role at the Copenhagen talks and will clearly be instrumental in successful implementation of any kind of future accord under the UN framework.

PANEL SPEAKERS:
1) Mr. Robert Thorpe, Chief Executive, Macquarie SBI India Infrastructure Fund
Robert is currently responsible for managing a fund > USD 1bn for infrastructure investments in India. The fund is a joint venture between Macquarie and State Bank of India (SBI)
2) Mr. Shahal Khan, President and Founder, Zeba Solar
Shahal founded one of the fastest growing solar energy company in India currently developing more than 400MW of energy projects.
3) Mr. Daniel Hersson, Director Strategy and Ventures, BP Alternative Energy
Daniel is a senior Director in BP's Alternative Energy division responsible for investing in renewable energy projects across the world. He has immense experience of identifying and investing in projects in India.
4) Mr. William Pazos, Managing Director, Standard Bank Plc
William is a MD with Standard Bank Plc with a direct responsibility of Carbon origination and finance. He is based out of Singapore.
5) Mr. Stephen Hill, Partner, Eversheds
Stephen is a partner in the Environment/Renewable Energy group at Eversheds LLP.
6) Ms. Clare Rhodes-James, Head of Hydro Division, Mott MacDonald
Clare is the manager of the hydro division at Mott MacDonald and has varied experience of manging renewable energy projects around the world.
