The Great Indian DreamTalk by Prof Arindam Chaudhuri

IIT London Chapter (IITLC) in association with Tanaka Business School, Imperial College and Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) is delighted to invite you for a talk by Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri at Tanaka Business School ; Imperial College London  on 19th July 2007 based on his best selling book, The Great Indian Dream.

The book outlines the development issues facing India, and proposes policies at the national level to eradicate poverty and unleash the country’s potential. The book also holds a series of essays on his original thoughts, such as Happy Capitalism and the Law of Increasing Marginal Utility.

Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri ( www.arindamchaudhuri.com) is Honorary Dean at the IIPM, one of India’s leading business schools,  a Founder of Planman Consulting and Editor-in-Chief of Business & Economy magazine. He is the author of two bestselling books, 'Count your chickens before they hatch' and 'The Great Indian Dream'. He has been awarded The Management Guru award by Om Venkatesa Society, 50 Leading Thinkers award by Wilton Park Foundation, Personality of the Decade award and Example to the Youth award by Rotaract Club, and the Priyadarshini Memorial award.

He has lectured extensively at universities in the UK and Europe, and has addressed audiences in the US and across the world at his Success Seminars. In India, he regularly leads workshops for business leaders, which have counted the CEO's of Hero Motors, Ernst & Young and Birla group among the participants. He also founded The Great Indian Dream Foundation (GIDF) in 2001, which directly works in over 300 villages to eradicate poverty. Cricketer Sachin Tendular and Miss Universe 2006 Natalie Glebova are spokespersons for GIDF.

We have limited capacity at the lecture theatre and seats are available to members on a first come first serve basis.  There is no charge for the talk   but preference will be given to registered members of IITLC.
