Global Technology Innovation Forum
Born global: seamless boundaries - seamless innovation
14, May 2007
Cumberland Hotel, London, United Kingdom
With
rapid globalisation, the innovation trends in the 21st century are
being redefined. Countries like India and China are emerging as major
innovation & research hubs. High speed communications combined with
lower labour costs and huge talent pools allow multinational
corporations to create centres of excellence in major developing
economies. Does this mean that the western nations need to consider
radically different innovation models?
To
address the issue above, The Commonwealth Business Council (CBC), along
with the Indian Institutes of Technology (The London Chapter) and
Imperial College, London is organising the first Global Technology
Innovation Forum of its kind in May 2007. The Forum will bring together
major corporations, industry practitioners, innovation experts and
several other stakeholders to discuss the shape of the future of
Innovation amidst globalisation.
